The Bihar School Examination Board is anticipated to release the BTET 2026 notification for primary and upper primary teacher eligibility testing. Candidates preparing for Classes 1-5 (Paper I) and Classes 6-8 (Paper II) should monitor the official BSEB portal regularly.
Bihar government has decided that state-level TET for Classes 1-8 will not be conducted separately, and recruitment will be based on CTET merit. However, STET for secondary level (Classes 9-12) will continue as before.
According to multiple sources, the official Bihar TET 2026 recruitment notification is expected in early March. The exam will be conducted online for two papers covering primary and upper primary teaching levels.
