The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) released the provisional answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on July 15, 2026. Candidates can submit objections online through trb.tn.gov.in until July 22. The final answer key is expected by end of July, with results in August 2026.
The Tamil Nadu Special TET 2026 for working teachers was conducted on July 4-5, 2026. Around 61,386 candidates appeared for Paper 1 and 1,67,743 candidates for Paper 2. Chennai centers recorded 94.6% attendance.
TRB Tamil Nadu released the TNTET Hall Ticket 2026 on June 19, 2026, at trb1.ucanapply.com. Candidates were required to download and print their admit cards for the Paper 1 exam on July 4 and Paper 2 exam on July 5.
TRB Tamil Nadu released the TN TET 2026 notification for working teachers on February 13, 2026. This Special TET is for in-service teachers appointed on or before September 1, 2025, who have not yet cleared TET.
