- Bachelor's degree (any discipline) from a recognised university.

More than 11 lakh candidates have submitted applications for IBPS PO 2026. Due to the high number of applicants, the prelims exam is scheduled across 2 days with 4 shifts each day.
IBPS released the Prelims admit card on 14th August 2026 for the CRP PO/MT-XVI exam. Candidates can download their call letters from ibps.in using their registration number and password until 23rd August 2026.
IBPS released a corrigendum on 20th July 2026 increasing total vacancies from 6,715 to 7,365 PO/MT posts across 11 public sector banks. The application deadline was also extended to 26th July 2026.
The official notification for IBPS PO 2026 was released on 1st July 2026 at ibps.in. This is the 16th edition of the exam with Prelims on 22-23 August and Mains on 4th October 2026.
