Takeaways for prep planning
- NSEB material extends far beyond NCERT — Campbell Biology + Vander's Physiology + Plant Physiology by Taiz & Zeiger are the standard references.
- Olympiad biology rewards depth, not just NEET-style breadth. Specifically prepare experimental + analytical questions.
- The IBO international round includes practical exams — Stage 3+ candidates should practise dissections and lab techniques.
