The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 was conducted from July 2-4, 2026 in offline OMR mode across 955 exam centres in 75 districts. Approximately 20 lakh candidates appeared for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Following the conclusion of the three-day exam, UPESSC is expected to release the provisional answer key on upessc.up.gov.in by July 10, 2026. Candidates can submit objections by paying ₹500 per question with valid academic proof.
UPTET 2026 marks the first exam cycle since 2021, with nearly 20 lakh registrations. Candidates who qualify will receive a lifetime valid UPTET certificate for teaching positions in UP government schools.
