WBBPE conducted counselling for writ petitioners who qualified in TET-2014 after being awarded six marks for wrong questions, in compliance with the Supreme Court order, on April 7, 2026.
The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has deferred all previously scheduled interview dates for TET 2022 qualified candidates due to the ongoing election process. Board president Goutam Pal confirmed revised dates will be notified after discussions with the Election Commission.
The Teacher Eligibility Test for recruitment of Special Education Teachers in Primary Schools was held on February 22, 2026. Admit cards were released on February 13, 2026 via the official WBBPE portal.
