The 72nd CCE Preliminary Examination, originally scheduled for 26 July 2026, has been postponed by BPSC citing unavoidable reasons. As per the revised exam calendar released on 14 August 2026, the prelims is now tentatively set for 25 October 2026.
Bihar Public Service Commission has released the updated BPSC Exam Calendar 2026 covering 70th, 71st, and 72nd CCE schedules. The 71st CCE Mains result is expected in August-September 2026, while the 72nd CCE Prelims is listed for 25 October 2026.
BPSC has removed 44 Sugarcane Officer posts from the 72nd CCE recruitment through a corrigendum. The total vacancies have been reduced from 1,230 to 1,186 posts across various administrative positions including SDO, DSP, and District Commandant.
The Bihar Public Service Commission has published the final result for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination with 2,027 candidates declared successful. The 71st CCE result is now expected during August-September 2026 as per the official calendar.
