Takeaways for prep planning
- Mathematics carries 50% of total marks — strong Math alone can secure a state-quota seat in a tier-2 college.
- AP EAMCET is faster-paced than JEE Main: 160 questions in 180 min = ~67 sec per question. Speed matters.
- Intermediate (AP) textbooks cover ~95% of the paper. NCERT supplementary practice helps but isn't strictly necessary.
