AKTU has postponed the UPTAC 2026 Round 1 choice filling that was originally scheduled to begin on July 4. The document verification process concluded on July 2, and revised dates will be announced soon on the official portal.
AKTU extended the UPTAC counselling registration deadline for B.Tech admissions. Candidates with valid JEE Main 2026 scores can register on uptac.samarth.edu.in with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000.
Uttar Pradesh has abolished the standalone UPCET/UPSEE entrance exam. All B.Tech admissions in AKTU-affiliated colleges are now based on JEE Main scores, with CUET UG/PG accepted for other programs like BBA, BCA, B.Pharm, MBA and MCA.
The UPTAC 2026 counselling process will have four main rounds, one internal sliding round, and two special rounds. Physical reporting for allotted candidates is expected between late July and early August 2026.
