- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Final-year students CAN appear, but must submit proof of graduation before the date specified in the call letter.

SBI released the Mains admit card on September 2, 2026 for candidates who cleared the Prelims exam. The Mains examination is scheduled for September 12, 2026.
The Preliminary examination was held across India in multiple shifts. Over 12 lakh candidates applied for 1,500 Probationary Officer vacancies under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09.
SBI made the Prelims call letter available for download, with exam scheduled for August 1 and 2 in eight shifts across two days.
