MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment result released on August 24
Your next steps in the NEET UG process
- 1. Report to allotted college for admission — Candidates must physically report to their allotted medical/dental college within the stipulated timeframe (typically 3-7 days from allotment) with original documents for verification and admission formalities
- 2. Complete admission formalities and pay fees — Submit original documents (NEET scorecard, Class 10/12 marksheets, ID proof, category certificate if applicable, domicile certificate), complete medical examination, and pay the first-year fees as per the college norms
- 3. For those who did not get allotment or want upgradation — Register for Round 2 counselling (typically starts 1-2 weeks after Round 1 reporting ends). Those who joined Round 1 seat can also participate for upgradation options
- 4. Keep documents ready for verification — Arrange all original certificates, NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard, passport-size photographs, provisional allotment letter downloaded from MCC portal, and gap certificates if applicable
- 5. Monitor MCC portal for Round 2 schedule — MCC will announce Round 2 choice filling and seat allotment dates. Candidates should regularly check the official MCC portal for updates on subsequent counselling rounds and mop-up rounds
