The Bihar Staff Selection Commission revised the total vacancies from the initial 24,492 to 26,426 posts for Inter Level positions including LDC, Clerk-cum-Typist, and other 10+2 level posts.
According to the BSSC Exam Calendar 2026 released in February, the Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for June-July 2026, followed by Mains in September 2026. Exact dates to be announced soon.
The commission extended the last date for online applications from January 31 to February 16, 2026, with fee payment allowed until February 13. Applications started on October 15, 2025.
